Committees

OVERVIEW

The makeup of the committees is crucial to establishing a legitimate and open planning process, as well as gathering important information and insight. The City Commission has appointed community and neighborhood representatives to eight different subcommittees.

The committee members represent various plan elements and areas of community interests including the built environment, economic development, schools and cultural interests, parks and recreation, social services, utilities, transportation, inter-governmental relations, and redevelopment opportunities.
